Sara Lardinois is a project specialist in the Getty Conservation Institute’s Field Projects department, managing the GCI’s Contemporary Architecture in the Historic Environment project and also working on conservation projects for built heritage sites in Egypt and Peru. A licensed California architect, she holds an architecture degree from the University of Notre Dame in the United States and received additional training at ICCROM in Rome. Prior to joining the Getty, Ms. Lardinois worked as an architect and project manager at Architectural Resources Group, a San Francisco-based firm specializing in the conservation of built heritage in the western United States, with many of her projects located in the National Parks, and also consulted on conservation projects in Turkey, Egypt, and Yemen.
